At the Nottingham Centre for Transgender Health, we are committed to providing timely, high-quality care for all our patients. Unfortunately, we have seen an increasing number of missed appointments where individuals have not realised that their appointment details were sent to them by email.

Every missed appointment represents lost clinical time that could have been used to support another patient. This contributes to longer waiting lists and delays access to care for everyone.

Appointment details are sent to the email address you are registered with at your GP practice. We understand that some patients may not regularly use this email account. However, it is essential that you check this inbox frequently. Please also remember to look in your spam or junk folders, as emails can sometimes be filtered incorrectly.

Ensuring you review all relevant email folders will help you avoid missing important communications about your care, including appointment invitations.
