Nottingham Centre for Transgender Health Network is committed to training the next generation of expertise in transgender health, whether it is at undergraduate level or doctoral training.

The centre has had many students through its doors as well as many students working virtually with the Network over the years. The Network has offered general work experience, placements, Masters dissertation projects and have also had several successful cohorts of PhD students conducting their research in conjunction with the Network's clinic.

The education team at the Network have strong links with many local universities and many members of staff teach at university level as well as helping to supervise projects covering a range of topics.

The Network has also been involved in the creation of education materials and courses. For example, several members of staff at the clinic were involved in creating the Royal College of Physician's first nationally accredited course for general practitioners focusing on transgender issues and healthcare provision.
